Below you will find detailed information to help you choose the right shoe size.
Are you unsure about your shoe size?
The inside length of our shoes is measured to the millimetre. The shaft width of boots is also measured. You will find a size recommendation directly on the product.
Where can you find the size recommendation?
When you look at an article and move the mouse pointer over the size selection or have selected a size on your tablet or mobile phone, an info box appears with the following information:
Size recommendation
You will receive information on the extent to which the actual measured item size differs from the size specified or printed on the shoe. Based on this, we can give you an exact size recommendation so that it is not necessary to order several sizes of a product.
Shaft width
For boots, we measure the shaft circumference in addition to the shoe size and indicate this. To determine the perfect shaft width for you, measure your calf at the widest point, depending on how you wear them with socks or trousers.
To help you find the right CAPRICE boots for you in our online shop, we recommend using our shaft width filter. Simply go to the boots category and select the right width range for you in the shaft width filter.
The shaft widths can vary between the individual sizes of an item. To get the best search results, you should also filter according to your shoe size.
Shoe width
In principle, the CAPRICE collection only includes items with widths G and H.
The shoe width ‘G’ describes a normal to slightly above-average width for shoes. It is ideal for people with a standard or slightly wider foot. Shoes with a width ‘G’ offer enough space to comfortably enclose the foot without pinching or constricting. This ensures a comfortable fit, especially if you wear the shoes for long periods of time.
The shoe width ‘H’ is a width for shoes that is particularly suitable for people with a slightly wider foot. This means that the shoe offers more space in the area of the ball of the foot, i.e. the widest part of the foot. This ensures increased comfort, especially if you wear the shoe for a longer period of time or are on the move a lot.
What is your shoe size?
If you are generally unsure what your current shoe size is, you can use the table below to help you. However, please consider the values only as average values, as the width of a foot also has an influence on the correct shoe size.
Tip: Place your foot in socks on a sheet of paper and mark the length of your foot (from the heel to the longest toe). Measure the distance between the two points with a ruler.
If you measure a foot length of about 24.4 cm, shoe size 38 would be the right size for you according to the table below.
If you measure a foot length of 24.8 cm, for example, a shoe size 38.5 would be ideal for you. We offer half sizes in the CAPRICE online shop for selected items and product groups. For items that we only offer in whole sizes, we recommend choosing the larger shoe size, in this case size 39, and using a half-sole to compensate.
