Below you will find detailed information to help you choose the correct shoe size.

Unsure about your shoe size?

The inner length of our shoes is measured precisely to the millimetre. For boots, the calf circumference (shaft width) is also measured. A size recommendation is provided directly on the product page.

Where do you find the size recommendation?

When you view an item and move your mouse cursor over the size selection, or select a size on your tablet or mobile phone, an info box appears with the following information:

Size recommendation

You receive information on how far the actual measured size of the article deviates from the stated size or the size printed inside the shoe. Based on this, we can give you an accurate size recommendation, so ordering multiple sizes of the same product is not necessary.

Shaft width

To determine the perfect shaft width for you, measure your calf at its widest point – depending on how you intend to wear the boot, either with tights/socks or over trousers. Shaft widths can vary between the individual sizes of an article.

Shoe width

The CAPRICE collection generally includes only styles in width G and width H.
The shoe width “G” indicates a normal to slightly above‑average width. It is ideal for people with a standard or slightly broader foot. Shoes in width “G” provide enough space to comfortably surround the foot without pinching, offering a pleasant wearing comfort, especially when worn for long periods.
The shoe width “H” indicates a width particularly suitable for people with a somewhat broader foot. This means the shoe offers more room around the ball of the foot, i.e. the widest part of the foot. This ensures enhanced comfort, particularly when the shoe is worn for extended periods or when you are very active.

What shoe size do you have?

If you are generally unsure of your current shoe size, you can use the table below as a guide. Please regard these values only as average values, since, among other factors, the width of your foot also influences the correct shoe size.
Tip: Stand in socks on a sheet of paper and mark the length of your foot (from the heel to your longest toe). Measure the distance between the two marks with a ruler.
If you measure a foot length of around 24.4 cm, then according to the table below, size 38 would be the correct size for you.
If, for example, you measure 24.8 cm, size 38.5 would be optimal for you. We offer half sizes in the CAPRICE online shop for selected styles and product groups. For styles that we only offer in whole sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size (in this case size 39) and using a half insole to compensate.
